How to Play
The easiest way to play Club Keno is simply by asking your retailer for a $5 or $10 Easy Pick. You’ll get a 4-spot Club Keno ticket that is good for 5 or 10 consecutive drawings. Or you may obtain a Club Keno playslip and complete it by following the instructions below.
Choose The Jack (optional)
Play The Jack by checking the "YES" box in Section 1 of your playslip for $1 extra per draw. 8 EASY PICK numbers will be printed at the bottom of your ticket. These are your Jack numbers. Jackpot starts at $10,000 and increases as tickets are sold until someone wins. Cash prizes are awarded for matching 4, 5, 6, or 7 of your Jack numbers to the 20 Club Keno numbers drawn. When you match all 8 of your Jack numbers to the 20 Club Keno numbers drawn you win the progressive jackpot prize amount!
Choose The Kicker (optional)
Play the Kicker for a chance to multiply your winnings! Right before every Club Keno drawing, a wheel spin (on the monitor) will randomly select the Kicker number of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10. If you win a prize on your Club Keno ticket, and you have purchased the Kicker option, your prize amount will be multiplied by the Kicker number that was selected. Selecting the Kicker option will double the cost of your wager.
Choose Your Spots
Choose how many numbers (spots) you want to play per drawing. You can pick 1 to 10 numbers and this has no impact to your wager cost. The amount of numbers you pick determines the prize table that you are playing for. For example, if you choose 4 numbers then you will be eligible for the 4-Spot Game prize table with a top prize of $72.
Choose Your Wager
Select how much you want to wager for each drawing: $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20.
Choose How Many Consecutive Draws
Decide how many consecutive drawings you want to play, from 1 to 60. New drawings occur every 4 minutes! Your cost will equal the amount wagered, times the number of consecutive draws.
Choose Your Numbers
Choose your numbers from 1 to 80 or select EASY PICK and let the computer randomly select numbers for you. The amount of numbers you choose must equal the number of spots you chose to play.
Purchase Your Ticket
Present your completed playslip to your Club Keno retailer. You will receive a ticket that lists all of the information you filled out on the playslip. The ticket also indicates the draw number(s) for which your wager is eligible. This number corresponds to the drawing number displayed next to the winning numbers on the Club Keno closed-circuit television monitor in the bar or restaurant.
Watch Your Drawings Live or Play Club Keno "To Go"
Watch the Drawings every 4 minutes, 7 days a week from 6:04 a.m. until 1:48 a.m.
The Michigan Lottery will draw 20 numbers from the pool of 80 for each drawing. Match your numbers against the 20 numbers selected by the Lottery to determine your winnings!
ALWAYS check your ticket(s) to ensure wagers, numbers and drawings are printed exactly as you requested.

Multiply these prize payouts by the amount you wagered per drawing to determine prizes for wagers greater than $1. If you win a prize on your Club Keno ticket, and you have purchased the Kicker option, your prize amount will be multiplied by the Kicker number for that drawing. The maximum prize for winning a 10 spot wager and a '10' Kicker during a single drawing is $20 million. In the event of multiple winners for a single drawing, the $20 million prize will be divided equally among the winning prize shares. The overall odds of a Kicker number being 2 or higher are 1:1.74.
Progressive jackpot starts at $10,000 and is parimutuel. Kicker does not multiply any winnings resulting from The Jack. If two or more persons win the Jackpot, the prize is shared equally among winning persons.
Did You Win Playing Club Keno?
You win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers you've selected to the numbers drawn on the monitor. The more numbers you match, the more you can win. In a 10 spot game, you can even win if you don't match any numbers at all!
The ticket you receive lists all of the information you filled out on the playslip. It also indicates the draw number(s) for which your wager is eligible. This number corresponds to the drawing number displayed next to the winning numbers on the Club Keno closed-circuit television monitor in the bar or restaurant. Watch the monitor to view your winning numbers or bring your ticket to a Ticket Scanner to check for results.
Archived draw results are available at the michiganlottery.com website. Winners should sign the back of their ticket immediately.

Tax Information on Michigan Lottery Prizes
Michigan Lottery prizes are subject to federal, state and local income taxes. You may be required to make estimated tax payments by filing a form 1040ES with the Internal Revenue Service. If you have questions regarding income tax, please contact the Internal Revenue Service at (800) 829-1040, the Michigan Department of Treasury at (517) 636-4486, or your local taxing authority.
The Michigan Lottery provides winning Lottery clubs with a blank Substitute 5754 form. Lottery clubs must submit a completed Substitute 5754 form at time of prize payment.
- Substitute 5754 form (BSL-A-2164)
- Instructions for Substitute 5754 form (BSL-A-2164-Instructions)
- Instructions on how to form a lottery club
All winners claiming individual prizes of more than $600 will receive a W-2G form at time of prize payment for the purposes of completing their yearly tax return.
Following are some additional facts on Lottery withholding guidelines:
Prizes up to $600: The Lottery does not withhold any taxes.
Prizes from $601 to $5,000: The Lottery does not withhold any taxes but is required to report the winnings to the IRS and Michigan Department of Treasury. The winner will then be required to report the income in the tax year it is claimed.
Prizes over $5,000: For any Michigan Lottery prize over $5,000, the Lottery is generally required to withhold an estimated 25 percent in federal tax and 4.25 percent in state tax. These withholdings do not necessarily satisfy a winner's tax liability; they are simply estimates. We recommend that all winners contact the IRS, Michigan Department of Treasury and trusted tax professionals to determine whether additional tax payments will be required.
Non-Michigan U.S. residents: All prizes over $5,000 are subject to 25 percent federal tax and 4.25 percent state tax withholding regardless of the state of residence. Questions regarding this state tax withholding should be directed to the Michigan Department of Treasury, taxpayer assistance division.
Non-U.S. residents: Players who win a Michigan Lottery prize greater than $600 and do not live in the United States are subject to a 30 percent federal tax withholding rate as well as the 4.25 percent state withholding rate.
